List your top 5 (or as many as you wish) single player and multi player experiences ever in the world of gaming.

Here are mine:

Single Player:

1. God of War 3

2. Uncharted 3

3. GTA V

4. Red Dead Redemption

5. Halo 3

Multi Player:

1. GTA IV

2. Red Dead Redemption

3. StarHawk

4. Uncharted 3/Gears of War 3

5. Halo CEA

is starhawk really that good?

I couldn't get into Starhawk, as it's a "sequel" to Warhawk which is in my top favorites for online games and it's nothing alike which makes me super sad. The hawks are overpowered, and a heavy tank lover like myself, the game kind sucks for you. Can't take over a base, the level designs favor air vehicles. Maps are far to giant and open. Far less strategic now, everyone has what they want at all times.

Dammit, I want Warhawk 2.......

Single Player:

1/2. Final Fantasy 10

1/2. Suikoden 2

3. Metal Gear Solid 4

4. Final Fantasy 7

5. Uncharted 1 (most fun Platinum ever)

Multi Player:

1. Counter-Strike 1.6

2. Team Fortress Classic

3. Warhawk

4. C&C: Red Alert 2

5. C&C: Generals

Single Player.

1. Pokemon Gold (or Heart Gold I guess)
2. LoZ: Ocarina of Time
3. LoZ: Links Awakening
4. Final Fantasy IV

6. Mass Effect (original game)

Multi Player

1. Mario Kart 64
2. Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri
3. GoldenEye
4. Halo
5. Gran Turismo 2

I'm not gonna argue for a second that it's not the sequel to Warhawk that fans wanted, because obviously it isn't.  So I'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations.

But just about what you said - I don't think Hawks are overpowered at all.  In fact, they can be pretty damn weak in multiplayer, 2 rocket hits and they're toast.  They have their place in the battlefield, but I wouldn't say it's significantly more dominant than any other vehicle, although that would totally depend on what map you're playing on

In addition (and the thing I don't think a lot of people realise) is that when creating a server, you choose a building loadout.  So for example, if you choose the "Ground Pounder" loadout, Hawks are unobtainable on that server, so you can customise it based on how you enjoy playing.  90% of the 'Zones' mode I play use Ground Pounder loadouts, so you never see Hawks in them (and it makes the gameplay in that particular mode a lot enjoyable, too).

It is a very good game. The multiplayer is unlike anything I've played before. The only thing I can compare it to is Battlefield 3, except you can build whatever buildings you want to help defend you team as well as help the offensive. It's very addicting

i played the beta and it was pretty good but i didnt update the beta and recieve the extra contenet they added later (i guess tanks?) because it was a 1 GB download so i just ignored it. the biggest grip though with the multiplayer is that it didnt seem to offer any unlocks and stuff like that, kinda feels im playing without a purpose if you know what i mean. also how is the single player? (i really dont expect a great story from it so i wont mind of it doest)

Yeah, there aren't very many unlocks and customizations, mostly just "skills" (think perks from CoD) and customization of how your character appears, clothes and the like. Not much customization at all, if that's what you're looking for. Most of the customization takes place in-game with how your team decides to build its structures.

The single player is decent, but definitely not why you would buy the game. Its a bit short. 6 or 7 hours I think. There was barely much of a story. I definitely bought the game for the multiplayer. The single player was nothing compared to multiplayer.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Single Player:

1. Shining Force 2
2. Baldur's Gate
3. LoZ: Ocarina of Time
4. Mario 64
5. Halo Reach

Multiplayer:

1. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (still get urges to play to this day. Fuck you, EA, for ruining the best franchise ever!)
2. Goldeneye 64
3. Halo: Reach
4, Mario Kart 7 or 64 (I can't choose between them!)
5. World of Warcraft

*edit* changed a couple of mine.

Single Player:
Mass Effect series
Assassin's Creed Series
Portal 2
Halo series
Pokemon Gold

Multiplayer:
Halo series
Gears of War 3
Call of Duty 4
Left4Dead 2
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

ohh yeah im definitely not buying it for the single player, but its nice to have it their and 6/7 hours is good for a multiplayer focused game i guess much better than killzone 3's 4 hour campain. hmm the lack of many unlocks bothers me actually as i do like to feel im "accomplishing" something. but the thing i do like about this game is that every match feels much different from the other (thanks to changing spawn sites and all the RTS ellements) which is something i really love. the only multiplayer i played that felt like that was killzone 2 (also because of the changing spawn sites) seriously thanks for the reply and im probably gonna pick this up ones i get some cash, maybe we could play together?
