It looks pretty good. I could not wait for it though so I got it for PS3. I'm getting AC3 instead.
What's up?

This is more of a developer and software issue than a console issue. The same with frame rate. People don't seem to understand these things. Stuff like that isn't absolute.

yes i understand, i meant, instead boosting and remaking the grafix for the WIiU ports, they could use the extra power to solve those problems, i know that those issues can be fixed with a little bit more code depuration..

It has new abilities for Batman and all the DLCs, that's called GOTY edition not port.

Call it X if you like, it is still a port.
| A port is a conversion of a game to a new platform that relies heavily on existing work and assets. A port may include various enhancements like improved performance, resolution, and sometimes even additional content, but differs from a remake in that it still relies heavily on the original assets and engine of the source game. |
At the end of the day all multiplatform titles are ports, generally with the 360 SKU being the lead platform this gen. I've worked in the industry for four years before becoming too unwell to work and developers don't bother changing the button prompts for all SKUs until just before the Beta is built. Quite weird the first time you see it lol.
For some strange reason the word has negative connotations when mentioned in the same sentence as a Nintendo platform. I'm expecting the U to be the lead platform choice of most developers next gen now that Nintendo have been confirmed to have been forward thinking enough to have a GPGPU and, as such, a similar architecture to the PS4 and 720 that are on their way.
But of course, those up-ports won't have the stigma attached to them lol.

I was going to point this out. The first thing that struck me when I loaded up Arkham Asylum was the wall of 8 or so middleware providers on one of the loading screens. It's like the title had been ported to all release platforms simultaneously.
I was stunned that a title which used so much middleware could be so polished and performant. I'm used to something, somewhere getting lost in translation.

Well, on a technical level that game didn't peek any of the systems capabilities. They did the graphics, physics and A.I. just well enough to be appealing to batman fans.
It was well designed and fun to play though.
