Wii gets its last hurrah. *sniffle*

It will certainly be interesting to see what Nintendo has to announce for the platform. Maybe Pandora's Tower will be announced for an NA release? I suppose we'll see soon enough.

EDIT: I bet we'll hear about the Kirby Anniversary collection as well.

Alright, time to make some predictions!

Nintendo showed off all of their 2012 3DS games at E3. If there are any unannounced games still being released for 3DS this year, they aren't Nintendo games. Nintendo will not reveal a brand-new game.

All three regions: Previews of July releases, including at least one eShop game. Kirby Collection preview. Release date for Onitore.

Europe: Release date for Fire Emblem.

America: The Last Story preview. .......Pandora's Tower announcement? Please?

No, they didn't. On their 2012 lineup list released at E3, Lego City: Undercover for the 3DS was listed. It was never shown, indeed it was barely even referenced (I think they did say "3DS" at some point when showing off the Wii U version).

Beyond that, Nintendo has surprised people in the past. Also note that Fire Emblem: Awakening for the 3DS has now been confirmed to be on the way, but without a confirmed release period. It could turn up in 2012.

You know, I actually wonder if Nintendo might have intended to show off more 3DS titles during the software showcase, but were anticipating having to compete against the PS Vita... which was barely mentioned by Sony. When they saw that Sony hadn't brought anything to compete against the 3DS with, Nintendo could have gone "well then, let's not reveal everything".

An interesting observation - Nintendo had a section on their e3 website for "Nintendo 3DS Games"...  the only thing they ever posted under that category was the Showcase stream itself. They didn't even post up information pages for NSMB2, Paper Mario 3DS, or Luigi's Mansion 2. One has to wonder why they'd have prepared such a section, only to not use it. I mean, there's no doubt that Nintendo wanted the primary focus to be on the Wii U... but it still seems strange that they mostly showed more of the Mario trio during the Showcase, after having shown them during the main conference.

This might be Nintendo's alternate time to unveil 3DS titles that were going to be shown during the showcase. We just don't know.

WiiU pricing? Launch date?

That'd be nice...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Wii stuff will probably DQX (Japan) and maybe Epic Mickey 2 Wii given Warren has appeared on Nintendo Direct before.

Although not impossible, it looks like they're focused on Wii/DS/3DS, and not Wii U.

I know, but one can dream!

In honesty, I'd love to hear some stuff on Fire Emblem:Awakening and DQX.

Now that this is a worldwide thing, I'm excited for it. However, I will not overhype myself. I shall not! (I'm probably going to do so anyway).
