It will most certainly drop off until Project Diva F in late August. Vita is lacking big names like Dragon Quest, Pokemon, Mario and Monster Hunter but has some more niche names such as Persona, Project Diva, Ys and they should see substantial enough sales boosts to push the platform out of irrelevancy in Japan for those game launches. Meanwhile as it stands Nintendo could probably afford to leave the 3DS without software for several months and see strong sales, but they'll keep pushing out software.

Japan is a very brand driven gaming demographic, more so than the West.

Wonder if there will be a sales boost in the rest of the world thanks to Gravity Rush, could be a very descent week for Vita.

SONY still need to get a new monster hunter on Vita -- something to really boost sales for a longer period of time in Japan, since i believe they really need either a bunch of great games or a big price drop to boost western sales (preferably both once they can afford the price drop).

When is the PS Vita game heaven thing? Was supposed to be this month.

It was announced a while back that Persona 5 development has begun and is ramping up. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced sometime by the end of this year to be released in Japan maybe by summer 2013. From there one can only guess when the US will get the game and only god knows about the release of that game in Europe, or if it will ever even get one.

No do NOT say such things, NEVER. Persona 5 better be on 360. I do not entertain the idea of buying a new console just to play ONE game.

I don't see why Persona would not be released on the 360, I mean Atlus have been releasing most of their recent games such as Catherine and Persona 4 Arena multiplatform, why not Persona 5 which will boost much needed sales of the series? It was never an exclusive Sony bought and Atlus developed SMT games for DS/3DS as well.

I will happily pay full price for that.

Wow, very impressive! Nice to see it's sales pick up. Now I wanna see the Vita sales effect when CoD releases in the US and Europe..
