When the wife screams/squeeks it's clubbering time... punch first then asks questions..  it's more manly and the gf will reward that later on.. ;)
normally drunks don't bother me and my gf can save herself most of the time.. but when she gives this little scream I know there is something wrong..

I just don't see people in that stage of their lives since I quit being a cop. It's a good feeling when I see somebody from my police days and they say something like, "You don't remember me but I remember you and you are a good man." And really, I don't remember them. I'm just gglad nobody has come up to me and said, "You fucked my wife, you bastard!" or "You arrested me. Prepare to die!"

i really can't say something because i wasn't there but if it is like you said "guy asked girlfriend..she gives a bit money...he starts to harrass her a little bit...she starts to squeak a little bit (that's what you said first, not screaming) without any danger or anything and you run to push the man in his face which is much more dangerous because he could start to freak out then if he is on drugs or drank a lot which wouldn't be a problem if you would try to use something else than your fist first.
