lol.. have you ever been in a position that a loved one was in danger?  what would you have done? let him touch your loved one forcing her to give more money and then give him 20 bucks more? let him go with a good chat so that he knows nobody will actually stop him when he does it again? what if he would do it again but there wasn't someone in the neighbourhood to help an innocent girl? She already gave 5 bucks and he demanded more cause he saw her getting more from the ATM machine.. that is way more then talking crap.. a lot of women would have felt threatend by that.. So yes I acted on my uga ugga instinct to defend the one I love..

which danger? you were there with some friends, i see no reason why you had to fight for your love in danger if it was like you explained. there was nothing more than someone harrassing someone else a little bit and you overacted because you didn't realize how easy the situation was. like i said, i wasn't there but you explained it like that. it was much more dangerous to see a guy on drugs or alcohol freaking out then as it was to go to your girlfriend with your firends and ask what the problem is.

stop him from what? asking for money and annoy some people? do you really believe he won't ask for money anymore because of you in the future? and yes, if it would have been possible you could have had a good chat with him to stop him asking for more, that's what people do normally, talk with people if they don't like what they do if this would be enough. and if it would have taken 3 minutes more of your life, what exactly is the problem?

don't get me wrong, maybe the situation was worse and you really had to do it but it did not really sound like that. and i wrote on your wall now to stop that here...

The most I've given wasn't actual money, but a heap of groceries that should have lasted for about a week. We were about to drive home from holiday and had plenty of spare food, so we gave it to some homeless man in front of the supermarket. He was really happy and waved us good-bye as we drove of the parking lot.

Here is a story;

I was in Egypt once and there was a kid, about 5 years old. I gave him about 10 pounds (2$) and walked away, he followed me for minutes and said:

"Uncle, would you take the money you gave me and buy me food from the grocery?", I asked him "why don't go yourself and buy something?", he cried and he said he was hungry but he could never go into groceries and that he'd get beat if he was to be "seen" there.

I bought him food and asked him a few questions, he didn't answer most of them. Turns out that all of the 'street kids' (they are abundant in Egypt) are part of the ugliest form of slavery. I was shocked and started telling people left and right, most of the time their response is something along these lines "Yeah, news flash: we know". It's sickening.

Giving money to a homeless person is stupid, because they oftentimes use that money to feed the problems that are causing them TO be homeless.

I used to drive past a group of homeless people every day on my way to and from my university. I'd give them water bottles every day, then once a week buy a Taco Bell meal or something.

A gave one a dirty look and yelled get a job you bum. I amuse myself.
