However PS4 in 2013 is a definite.


I'll take that bet! I say it won't release in 2013.

Edit: In the US.

Pretty sure I already have a bet with Jay on that and why would you think it would release in 2013 in some region but not US? I could potentially see not EU... but US is definite along with Japan.

Most likely the release dates will be pretty close between Japan and US, but I was just trying to be on the safe side. If PS3 sales continue doing well in the US this holiday and up to E3 next year, don't you think they may push back the launch to Spring 2014?

facepalm. I know it's PR and all but the way some of you are spinning this is hilarious :P

It just means why bring out a new console if it's just going to be the same level as the current gen? Makes no sense

this is not just about the power either. Features are also part of it

and we know they are already making games for it (like Stigs new game at Santa Monica) and so far the rumored/leaked info on the specs sound pretty good. PS3 is old tech now, it won't be hard to show a significant leap in the capabilities

I am pretty sure sony has enough money to create a next-gen system. And they have enough good devs to support it, unlike the vita. A new uncharted, killzone, GT, and the system will sell.

 

They will do well next gen.

i know, i've been enjoying watching things slowly degrade from his pre-E3 adamant confidence.  xD

As some exec mentioned recently, Kaz has named the PS division as one of the three divisions they will focus on going forward as their strengths. so I think you are absolutely right. 

and am I the only one who is super excited to see what stigs next game is gonna be like!?
