Don't be so sure. A couple of the DS CODs almost hit 1 mil. This one has a chance over time. I certainly wouldn't expect 2 mil, though.

Its all good to get excited about a game if you want it and its also all good to state why you think this type of game is a bad placement for the device.
Its still a decent vita discussion and as the site's point is to discuss sales potential.. good or bad. Maybe some people just need to realize its not personal and join the discussion.

True with FAR higher userbases. I'm factoring in the lower appeal for the genre on portables and the lower appeal of Vita in itself so far.
I'll wait for a zombies confirmation before I get excited.

I'm not taking this personally, just using this as an example to people like xxain who complained about the official threads on the site. If you honestly think the sony sections is not plagued with bitching/dooming from people who don't even own a vita or have an agenda, then you are being blind. Sure I've been negative on Vita while I was super positive on Xperia Play before it was released.
I'm not negative on Sony, just think they keep f'ing up their potential.
Also, the sales section is for general sales. If its specific to Sony then this is proper and can be focused on sales just as the OP asked.

1. So hopefully this game will utilize that.
2. I don't think so. I think the mass COD consumer will spend $10 (vs $350) and get it on their home console as playing on wifi restrictions is still too limiting.
Its going to take a few BIG first party true exclusive experiences to make Vita take off as is OR a significant price drop. Unfortunately Sony doesn't seem to provide the exclusive experiences like Nitnendo does with Pokemon and other portable experience only titles and they simply couldn't afford a significant price drop on the hardware.
I'm not trying to be overly negative here either. Just pointing out my opinion on what a portable needs to be highly successful.
