It's too simple for hardcores and too complex for casual. You can pick one, not both. Some logic, LOL.

Can't imagine why Nintendo doesn't bend over to give them exclusives like GI wants....

To answer your question though, that's actually a plausible take. Too much X for Group A, Too little for Group B.

I woulda preordered this game with my DS had I known it was a pokemon SRPG.

I just thought it was going to be a regular pokemon game where you went around trying to win medals from Shinen Takeda while fighting Team Oda.

Interesting.

 

I STILL Don't get why Shingen didn't get some kind of large cat pokemon and Kenshin didn't get a Dragon. (Or at least a rival large cat pokemon).

 

I mean, hell it's in their nicknames!  Having those be there pokemon makes too much sense!

I am guessing you like China's history more than Japan , Have you tried Kessen?

I am guessing you like China's history more than Japan , Have you tried Kessen?

Not, i just like the gameplay differnces a bit more... and the displays seem a bit... "cleaner" i'd say.

That and the more turnbased nature of ROTK.  Nothing to me beats 8.  With the classic ROTK battles, the RPG elements and the ability to play a simple officer.   I'd get 4 friends together and we'd spend nights playing that game.

 

ROTK 10 Tried to copy 8, but had bugs and problems.

As for Kessen, yeah... it's ok.  Didn't overwhelm me though.
