Thief was a great game back then. Did many new things. Not so sure if it will fit into todays gaming. But let's see what they do with it.
It looks like a stealth game and I always like stealth games. This will be on my anticipated games list.

it is, think of it like hitman, but you are a theif instead of an assassin, you just want to steal stuff, and loot, in first person, you don't have to kill any one.
