Crazzyman, stop comparing PS2 and PS3. It's dumb. It's not reasonable. It was a completely different situation for the PS2 than for the PS3. Of course it's not like the PS3 will be selling badly all year, but your ranting about how sony's console will conquer all predictions and blah blah blah is really starting to be a nuisance. At least show credible evidence. Besides, if you want a fair comparison for the PS2 and PS3 then show how many PS2 sold in it's first year in Japan, US and Europe and how much it was for the PS3. That will be a lot more credible evidence.

i compare PS2 2001 January numbers with PS3 2008 January numbers.
They are very close. The end.

Again, i comparing only numbers of 2001 and 2008, NOT 2000 and 2007. DEAL With THAT.

PS2 launched in 2000. PS3 launched in 2006. Why are you comparing PS2 2001 with PS3 2008? It should either be 2001 and 2007, or 2002 and 2008.

If you can't deal with that, begone. ;>

Dont think anyone will say the PS3 wont do around 150K this week. I also dont think anyone (buy you) will claim the PS3 will be at 270K per week at the end of March like the PS2 was back in 2001.

Well considering Sony has managed to cut manufacturing costs by half (now $400) they have a better chance to make profit from software now that they arent losing $200 - $300 a console sold. They might be able to get the price down another $50 soon.
