No. I actually saw the IGN article before this thread and assumed the thread maker didn't accidently forget a few key categories, which Tomb Raider didn't win.

No, it's not actually In previous years, on quite a few websites, 3rd party multies have won best MS both on here and other websites.

The award is for a game playable on the platform, not made by them

Yeah it's software, not hardware. Not sure what's up with G4 and giving it best new hardware.
