Forums - Nintendo - FACTOR 5 back on Wii!!

the fact they said they'reworking on at least one non VC game (I think they were referring to Wiiware) then it makes me think they are also working on a Wiiware game but was clarifying that they will release a new title also.

Perhaps Lair on Wiiware and a new Wii title.

Glad to see factor 5 back, now I have hope there will be another Rogue Squadron game.

One thing that is bad... all those people who Want Wii grphics had better buy this game no matter what. I say that because if you don't a lot of the other developers will just think, "See even good graphics won't sell on Wii- so why should we try?"

But I also think a lot of developers are looking at No More Heroes to see if some of there franchises will do well on Wii.

^i wouldnt really say theyre looking at no more heroes since that game is extremely violent

I disagree because we still have a bunch of developers thatsay that some of their franchises won't "work" on the Wii or DS. They think that only family or what some have said (not me) Kiddie games only work on the consel. If NMH does not work they will take it as proof to their nonsense.

Good to see you've learned your lesson, Factor 5. These guys will show the Wii's true power to all the unbelievers.

I hope it's something good.

Metroid alredy showed what th ewii can do, there is no hidden power sorry.

Unless they get rid of Julian F5 is worthless.

The flipside to this is that if the game sucks, and everyone goes out and buys it for the graphics, developers will think that graphics matters more than gameplay.  My criteria for buying this game will be the same as every other game, and I expect the same from the rest of consumers.

Anyone that actually thinks NMH is going to be a huge seller is off their rocker. There is always a chance that a game can be at the right place at the right time, but nobody is expecting anything huge from NMH. I seriously doubt any studio bigshots are waiting on NMH's sales numbers before they greenlight or kill a project.

I'm still holding out hope that NMH will catch on and have legs. I highly doubt it, but there is always a chance.

Welcome back, Factor 5!  Now finish your crow and get to work on a good Star Wars game.  We don't want Lair: Wii. :P

Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.

I'd really like a better understanding of what a 'big seller' is on Wii. Last generation, a game didn't have to sell a million copies to be considered a fair hit, so, since development costs for Wii are lower, what number must a game sell to be considered a big seller? Personally, I think NMH should do about 500k lifetime (about 200k at launch, but then there will be tons of word-of-mouth since it seems to be so great).

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
