I'm shocked that Nintendo gave them rights to use their properties. Nintendo's very... protective over its licenses.

It is a tribute to retro gaming.  I believe it is in Nintendo's interest to do this, if it is done right.  It looks promising.  It is possible Disney paid some money to get the licensing rights also.  With others signing up, it made sense for Nintendo to be in it.  After all, it has Dr. Robotnik (Eggman) in it, so Bowser makes sense to.

I hope someone makes a full Wreck-It Ralph videogame to.  I do want to try it.

It will never be as good as Kid Radd ( http://www.bgreco.net/kidradd.htm ) which had the same premise.

The 3D CGI will make this generic, the whole movie should have been the 8-bit style shown at the beginning.

I did not see this coming.
