Meh, Sony never learn.

It will struggle in Japan against WiiU, but I feel it should be okay against the Burnout/NFS copy, Just Dance copy, poor Kinect spinoffs and Halo. Unless MS cut the price.

Should just do what MS have done for the last few Years. Release great value bundles. A cheap looking PS3 with a couple of big name games (GT5/ Uncharted Twinpack) will look real nice next to WiiU, at least.

sony release plenty of value bundle during holiday season

Sucks, but then again it doesn't.

It'll give me something to play in 2013 along with Gears: J, Gow: A, followed by The Last Guardian in 2113.

Relatively weak line-up this year for Sony though (IMO!)

Thats why I said a great value bundle.

There's also Sports Champions 2 lol
I really don't know how this will fare.

But in my opinion all 3 consoles have a bad first-party line-up for this Holiday. But it really doesn't matter considering the massive third-party line-up.

Wow.. thats very naive... not like you.  It will get sidelined in the US this holiday by the WiiU and the 360, it wont compete there very well.  This will happen even without a price cut... But in Europe a fairly significant price cut for the 360 is an absolute 100% certainty (and a price cut in the US is 100% certain too) so it should be at least fairly even for the 360 there too.

I want to believe you with that, I really do, because it makes sense and they've gone so long without a price-cut, but I'm at this point just not sure if Microsoft is going to do it, they're comparably not doing so abysmal that they can't go on without a price-cut, they're making good profit of everything they're selling, and they've got to deal with increased R&D costs...

I'd like to see a price-cut, but I'm just not sure if Microsoft will opt to go that way instead of just realising great value packs, Halo 4 console and all that to get those necesarry sales.

I am sure PS3 will do fine, just like it has been.

meh, exclusives don't really matter this late in the gen. Like others have said, bundles, pricing, and other value-increasing strategies are more important.

Sly, LBP Karting and All Stars arent enough to compete with Halo 4.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

And Last of Us was...? Really...?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?
