This conference was abysmal, 80% casual, with (again) to much mario and nothing original. All French websites came to the same conclusion. Leave your cocoon and face the truth : no third party developer takes WiiU seriously. In the current state of affairs WiiU will be flattened by PS360 in 2012/2013, not to mention by PS4/Xbox3 later.

well to be fair, Ubi seems to be supporting it well

And Warner Bros, the first Tekken and (if we count the rebooted franchise as its own thing) Ninja Gaiden to hit a Nintendo home console. EA offered a good deal of praise last year, too.

well batman is a game from last year and tbh the ideas they used with the pad was just ..bad and uninspired. They could have done a much better job with it.

Tekken will be top quality so that is a plus for sure

NG new game sucks ass, stay away from it. it's not a plus for the system at all

@ryuzaki" zombi is still a new IP built ground up for the system tho. I'm sure you can snipe with other methods but from all 3rd parties they gave some good support for the system

The point is that the games are there at all. My stance on Wii U's third party support efforts have been that they are defensive, not offensive, and that getting the support is good enough in the big picture.

The question being that we need more.

Well I never claimed it wasn't there..I'm just saying it's missing 'good' support outside of ubi. having bad games or having year old games are not good support for a launching system.

Ports are par for the course. Wii launched with, what, a pack-in minigame compilation, a delayed GC game, Red Steel, Elebits, and a bunch of ports or terrible games (or ports of terrible games)

Actually that makes Wii U's launch window better. Where the test will come in is whether Wii U's 2013 will really surpass Wii's stellar 2007 lineup.

It seems that most people forget that E3 is a multiple day conference, not 3 hours. Just because it wasn't at the keynote, doesn't mean there aren't things being showed on the floor, in small conference rooms, and behind closed doors all over E3. All 3 keynotes were a little on the dull side this year, but that doesn't mean anything at all in the long run for any of the companies. Just sit back and enjoy what you know is coming.

LISTEN TO THE FIRST WORLD PODCAST REAL GAMERS, REAL AWESOME

Around the Network

im with the OP,u guys take this way 2 seriously. it was alright, should had a price. but lets b real here, Batman n ME3 aint doing much for wiiu millions of people bought those games, anyone who thinks otherwise needs to get off the forums n in the real world

Nintendo's conference sucked. Luckily they have 3, but still it was awful. It was the one I most looked forward too, so I was the most let down by it too. Sony's and Ubisoft made this e3 ok for though, but even then, the quality of the first one is questionable.

well to not even expect ports of multiplatform titles would have been to setting the bar extremely low. SUre it's better but nintendo definitely could have pushed for more. As of now the multiplat line up of current gen consoles just flattens this one. I mean why not, bring more multiplats that are releasing this year even? I'm starting to think that second controller is the reason why devs were complaining about the development for the system.

They should have had at least ONE major 3rd party exclusive for the launch..

Isn't that Rayman or ZombiU?

No worries. People are forgetting that Nintendo has a show in October, I remember back in 2006 they announced price and launch date on that one, not E3. They also have revealed great games in the past, on that lil conference. I guess they will show more then... although I was expecting at least one megaton more u.u
