Which was the best?

Ubisoft 53 41.73%

Nintendo 18 14.17%

Sony 43 33.86%

EA 0 0%

Microsoft 13 10.24%

Total:127

Last year was worse. You people expect megatons when you spend every waking second scouring for E3 leaks. Of course it'll be disappointing when you know every announcement.

Watch Dogs
The Last of Us
Beyond
Tomb Raider

Best of show imo

Sony: 6.5 (an extra 0.5 for The Last of Us gameplay and Beyond)
Microsoft: 6
Nintendo: 5
EA: 6
Ubisoft: 8.5 (would be 9 if not for the cheesy presentation)

Sony, EA and Microsoft did the expected, Nintendo started superbly but gradually went downhill and actually ended up showing very little of worth. Ubisoft have had the best conference and have done a far better job of selling the WiiU to me than Nintendo have. They also kept Sony's conference interesting with ACIII and Far Cry 3 gameplay.

1 Ubisoft
2 Nintendo
3 Sony - MS
4 EA

Yay!!!

EA: 5/10
Ubisoft: 6/10

^ Not gonna rate those two.

Very good analysis, but I disagree with Nintendo score.

What you said was spot on, but for a new system it needed more. That's why I can't give it a 8

Ubisoft- 7/10
Nintendo- Will judge after the conference tomorrow, but so far 6/10

Rest- Don't deserve a score

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Wow, this E3 as a whole, was extremely disappointing. Here goes...

Ubisoft - To me this event was the best, not only between EA's conference but E3 as a whole. It was the most exciting conference to boot. 1st place in my book. Oh, and WATCHDOGS (Best Game I've Seen This E3 Hands Down)

Sony - Like I said in a previous thread, Sony's Press Conference could have been perfect if it weren't for the Book O' Spells demonstration that clearly went wrong. Not many interesting things with Vita (kinda knew it would be a waste) but there were TWO games that I'm EXTREMELY interested in (BEYOND and The Last Of Us). 2nd place in my book.

EA - EA was actually gonna be my 4th place conference but I moved it up because they had the more games I am interested in than Nintendo from the E3. SimCity (kinda right up my alley), NFS: Most Wanted (favorite NFS game I've played i.e. back in 2005 of course) So as a result, I think EA steals 3rd place from....

Nintendo - Nintendo dropped the ball BIG time. All they really needed was two huge announcements (not including Pikman3) and they could have won, easily. To me, I think it was the lack of info that really got me. We know it comes out this year, but WHEN? I planNED on buying one this year but how MUCH will it cost me? I am glad they clarified on the amount of gamepads that the WiiU can support. We got some DS info although not to much on info on games that we HAVEN'T heard of before. They got a somewhat-new Batman (which I already have BTW.), WiiFitU, 2 Marios and NintendoLand (WiiU's WiiSports). We did get that PRE-E3 conference that did help explain some features of the WiiU in detail. That right there, isn't gonna convince me to buy a WiiU; at least not this year. And as a result, Nintendo grabs 4th spot.

Microsoft - To be honest, Microsoft had the most technical conference between the Big3, which was OK. Smart-Glass looks promising for the X360 owner. The games (Halo4, GeOW, any other shooter) didn't interest me too much even though they looked great. Forza looked interesting though. So I guess Microsoft is in 5th place.

And that will be my take on rating the E3 conferences for 2012.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

Last of Us demo saved E3 for me. Seriously, I'm bummed out. Hardly any Vita love. Don't want to buy a Wii U yet...ugh.

UBISOFT- B+; they had a strong conference and was the one who had and absolute shocker at the ending. my only complaint was the male co-host, the black chick gets a pass because she washot in my book.

SONY- C; had a decent conference, but everything there was expected or unfortunately leaked, their was little vita support and that spellbook thing went on way too long, luckily gameplay of The Last of Us and beyond save them.

Nintendo- C-; it was just underwhelming all together. pikmin 3 was a nice start to the conference then lagged on showing multiats that PS3/360 owners already had for months. The only game I can say I'm remotely interested in is Zombi U.

Microsoft C-; much better than last years, but nothing stood out for me other that Halo 4, and just like Nintendo there was no strong finish(though atleast nintendo finished with an exclusive )

EA D; just did not deliver, maybe I'm just upset about what they turned Dead Space 3, an nice job of copying Call of Duty's money-grabbing multiplayer pass.

Nintendo B+
Sony C-
MS H
Ubisoft B+
Didn't watch the other one
