Prediction: Monster Hunter 4 will NOT be a multiplatform title! It was announced exclusively at a Nintendo conference and that's proof enough for me that it'll stay an exclusive. Also the CCP is still be supported by Nintendo for the 3DS XL, so that, in a way, shows that they want Monster Hunter fans to play it on a bigger screen. I strongly don't believe it'll happen.

I'm 99.9% certain it won't be multiplat, but 3DS exclusive.

But, you've gotta remember MH3 was first revealed for the PS3 as an exclusive, before becoming Wii-exclusive. Anything can happen!

I'm fairly certain that MH3 wasn't 'revealed' as a PS3 exclusive.

It was simply in the planning stages for PS3 and then was shifted to wii. There is a big difference between officially announcing a game and showing a trailer and a game being in the planning stages.

Will MH4 go multiplat? Who knows. Maybe. If it does though I would perhaps expect it to go MH4 - 3DS, MH4G - 3DS and Vita.

Citing "high development costs," Capcom has moved development of its formerly PS3-exclusive game to Nintendo's platform.

Seems pretty "PS3-exclusive" to me. And it is unlikely to go multiplat; no previous game in the series has been.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

How long to go now? Quite excited to hear about this + any surprises.

It'll be on, or at least start, for us here in the UK at around 7AM tomorrow, so it's a fair while yet.

I still believe it will go multiplat. Not kidding.

I can't believe Sony letting this game go so easily as a reasonable scenario.

... right all you have done is prove my point. It was in the planning stages for PS3. I don't recall them ever really revealing it as a PS3 exclusive or announcing it as such.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

Aside from the video and the fact that, as highlighted in the article, it was a a PS3-exclusive.

So, simply because it was in the planning stage, there was a video and information, revealed by Sony. So to change midway through the planning stage is still a big deal, because it was still being developed with the PS3 in mind, not the Wii.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Let's add some suspense to the thread:

as I said in the OP this was on the first version of the site

ンスターハンターシリーズステージ開催が決定!!
モンスターハンターシリーズのステージ開催が決定!ニンテンドー3DS「モンスターハンター4」の最新情報も・・・・!

(Notice the 3DS before Monster Hunter 4)

Now it's this:

6月30日(土)14:30~/7月1日(日)14:40~
モンスターハンタースペシャルステージ
モンスターハンターステージでは、モンスターハンター4の最新情報も!

"Special Stage Hunter
In Monster Hunter stage, even the latest information on Hunter 4!"

CAN IT BE? CAN IT??????? Stay tuned.

I dont think MH4 will go Multi, but I do think the Vita or PS3 will be getting a MH game.

Im also still curious about if MH has surpassed DQ in Japan. I think MH4 is gonna be massive on 3DS.
