Writing a book is one of my goals I hope to complete within the next decade. I haven't really started to actually write it, but I've made an outline for the whole thing including individual chapter outlines. I haven't started the actual writing because I keep changing the story up a little bit. If I'm gonna write a book, it might as well be perfect. I don't want to start writing until I know the whole gist of the story. Then I can try to allude to certain things that will end up happening later on in the story. So far it's looking pretty good.

I was told by several people that I should write a book about certain events in my life but I don't think I'll ever actually do it. My love of art and desire to express myself come through in other media.

I do, in fact. I already have some 800,000+ words worth of material and even got an agent already.

It's very hard to publish a fiction book in my country (I wish we had something like Tor here), books are so expensive already even accounting for differences on the amount of printed material. But who knows, if I don't manage to release it within the next two years or so I should already have a fine job and will probably self-publish it. Or translate to english and try my luck on the USA.

Anyways it's far harder than most people think it is, specially if you want to do something nice instead of stand in mediocrity.

I tried, but ended up writing short stories. Did that when I was 16, but havent written anything for years.
