Been waiting almost a decade since ROTK came out. December is another 6 months yet!

they better dumb it down dramatically if they wish to make that much money

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

1.25B for part one if it's stellar.

1.5-1.65B for part two if that's stellar.

When a movie is getting hype this far out you know it's going to be big.

Hyped??? this is the first I've ever heard of this movie. lol

I think 2 billion guaranteed. The only thing that will stop this movie is if 48FPS makes people sick

I'm also curious about the 48fps. I have seen some Blurays that look so smooth it looks like I'm watching a soap opera and takes me out of the experience.

1.1-1.3B, not much more than that. LotR is more popular than The Hobbit. I dunno, unless they make it very appealing for kids...

That should be easy. The book is much more lighthearted than LotR. But the question is, will the movies be so lighthearted?

I say it won't.
