What are your thoughts about this poem by a devastated woman? Can anything in you relate?

Do any of you feel prisoner of an addiction when it comes to pornography? Have any of you been in a situation where you tried to stop, but found it extremely difficult when you wanted to?

And please, try to be respectful. This is a person with her personal expression of how she experiences the circumstances of her world. Thank you.

I'm not a prisoner of pornography! I can quit whenever I want! Proof of that is that it's been at least 15 minutes since I last watched porn! Who's addicted now? Not me!

If the guys porn addiction is really that bad the wise thing to do is to ask for a divorce not write a poem about it.

I will read the poem soon, I'm too into my music right now. But to answer your questions, I've never been addicted to porn, I don't know anyone who has. To be honest I hardly even use porn, I'd say maybe once a week. I just use my imagination.

It's sad that a porn addiction destroyed a marriage, but I hope this poem isn't blaming the porn as the porn isn't at fault, but an addictive personality is. I won't go into this too much as I haven't read to poem yet

Six and eight years old? And they found porn? Lucky bastards. I couldn't find any of my parents' porn until I was almost in high school! I didn't even own a porno until I was 21 or 22.

No way!

Seriously!  DIdn't even own a magazine.  I lost my "V Card" when I was 21.  Dated a girl with a key to the secret back room to a movie rental place and saw that some of it was for sale.  We rented some.  When she wasn't around, I went back and bought one.  Before that, it was late night cinemax or my imagination.

I don't know, maybe writing poems when you are sad/mad will catch on?

I can't see how I can touch myself to this shit. Sorry!

I have seen my first porn when I was 9 with my cousin, he was 18 and used to watch me. I liked him ever since.

sounds like your normal hentai flick

Bulllshitttt. Tough situation for her, okay, but the author of that article is too much. Comment leading up the poem:

"I think it’s particularly heartbreaking in drawing out the clear connection between pornography and violence. And it’s just a realistic look at how so many men are damaging and destroying their wives and families. It’s reality."

The comments from that website are even more pathetic. Full of ultra religious people talking about praying for the destruction of evil porn. Must be the people Santorum was after.

Conclusion: She's probably an overreacting religious nut who refuses relations unless the result is a child.
