I have registered in this forum just to comment in your thread since I'm great Bond fan.
Well I think that the only thing that is better in this movie than Thunderball is the underwater sequence. In Thunderball it's too long and sometimes it becomes confused. For me this one wasn't the worst Connery's Bond movie.
It was an average one. The main problem is that this movie is a remake (yes... the videogame sequence is ridiculous... and is a problem too...). The Bonds movies doesnt need a remake (although some of the main series looks like remakes... Moonraker and A View to a Kill for example...). I would give an 7/10...
