Sigh. At this point I would almost be happy if the game would just get canceled so they could at least begin work on Kingdom Hearts III.
Team Nomura should leave and get their 1st party studio at Sony
SquareEnix doesn't want him to release Versus13 PS3 Only cause M$ is ready to give them a lot of money but Nomura is probably saying "Well if thats the case we have to rebuild the whole game - Come back in 20 years"
He probably rather sees his game never getting released than getting released in a form he isn't happy with cause he knows the version he planned for the PS3 isn't running 1:1 like that on the 360.
Alone the overuse of all FMVs and different solutions for some areas and battles aren't doable there.
And who needs FMVs? say some people....Well why not having them if the PS3 can do 5 hours of them in NATIVE 1080p without sacrificing any other aspects of the game?
It's more shocking to see it miss TGS then E3. We'll see.

The only real issue here is this: is the game coming out or not? I have no doubts that we will see this released. We've been getting updates here and there, more than people realize, and I'm sure SE wants to do this big when they show it publically again. I don't think SE could've gotten so imcompetent that they don't even tell us if they've dropped development or not. If they did, I think Nomura would've left the building by now.
The most astounding fact about all this? I was 14 years old when this was announced.

They'll throw a bone this year, they always do, and fanboys will eat it up.
If Square were honest, people would have known not to expect anything for years, but there would have been less interest in the Fabulous Massive Shamalamadingdong Crystallis brand that they were pushing for this generation.
They dun' goofed no doubt, but honesty isn't required for them to sell copies, unfortunately,
I feel sad for the people who are waiting for this. I'm not trying to make fun or anything, I genuinely feel for you guys :(
