Let's go in order:

First comes the news that they're making user accounts for the Nintendo Network so users on the Wii U won't have their downloads tied to the console, but rather the user account.

Then Nintendo confirms that they're making first party games FIRST DAY downloads for those who would rather purchase digitally rather than physically. They also announce an aggressive retail strategy to help with digital distribution. Conversely, Microsoft just a few days ago confirmed that for the forseeable future, they plan on only releasing games digitally 6 months after they initially release, and at full ERP!
Now comes the news for today:
Nintendo opening the download system to help third parties offer their games digitally as well.
I look forward to seeing what Nintendo reveals at E3 for their full online strategy!
