"No trolling allowed" lol like ever stopped anyone

OT: I was expecting something more on the lines of MvC or something, color me surprised that they totally went the SSB route

I too expected Sony to go the MvC route. Oh well, it's not every major publisher hasn't done something like this before. Hell, even Nintendo has a Bishi Bashi clone.

But was it blatantly blatant?

Not this blatant but it's close enough to be called a clone.

It hasn't stopped people, HappyD. I would think you'll have to report quite a few people.

Oh, but there's more.  There's many, many more.

@happy I'm looking forward to the response! Whenever I end up writing something over a few paragraphs I just copy it so I dont rage if I hit the back button.

So far I haven't seen one I'm convinced by, impress me

Like the Move to the Wiimote, when Sony tries to do something Nintendo allready did it just ends in failure. Thats my prediction anyway.

Sales and reviews will be verrry interesting.

What about the analogue stick?

This thread is not about past affairs unrelated to the brawler genre, it's about smash and brawlers in general. Gilga's contribution (the old brawler game) is an example of what could be constructive just to give you an idea.

@Sal, I love your participation, you have no idea. I can't wait to get that to you, I'm just stuck at home. Lol next time I'll totally copy it, I was gonna throw my work computer and you know what that would've done

Also though I've got to say.......what is going on with Sony's fall 2012 linup, this and LittleBigPlanet Karting? Both of them are well, let's say very similar to two franchises Nintendo is known for. And the Last of Us and God of War are both going to be 2013 by the looks of it. I just honestly don't see Sony having a very good holiday season this year unless they really ad some big name games we don't know about because so far 2012 is looking like the worst lineup the PS3's had in a LONG time. Sony All Stars and LBP Karting aren't near enough to combat some of the other huge franchises that are launching this holiday.

would plz STAY OUT OF MY DAME HEAD!!!!

i've feared the worse for Sony since 2011 yr. end on this front. FFv13 is their only hope, but i still doubt that will help or come out for that matter. my friend i've often times agreed with you and this time is no different.

i'm holding on to a few things though.

Guerrilla games: 2 KZ's in dev. and one new shooter. reveal at E3?

MM: something new having no idea what it is! reveal at E3? doubtful.

Suckerpunch: new ip! reveal at E3? also doubtful.

Quantic Dreams: new ip! reveal at E3? highly doubtful.

Rockstar: AGENT! may never see the light of day, or E3? both highly probable.

other then that, Soy had better have a big secret they're telling no one or 2012 could very well go to MS.

Crazy Taxi vs. Simpsons Hit N Run
Saints Row vs. Grand Theft Auto
Tetris and its many clones
Mario Kart and its many clone
All of the WWII clones of the last few gens (I don't even know which one was first!)

Cloning is what makes the industry go 'round.,

Meant to say they can be used in different ways. Here's Pit.

I see. Anything similar to what Sly does?

Also, in Smash Bros. the face buttons are not deligated to different attacks right? I believe it is analog + attacks change what you do? While I have the game, I haven't played it in so long. I am going to need to brush up some skills though (IN terms of game style) and hop back on it. Always liked Capt. Falcon and Toon Link.

What I am trying to say is that at first glance it may look like a 100% carbon copy, but to me it is more like a CNTRL+C CNTRL+V, then they go back, hit the edit button and change so much around, outside of the way it looks in action.

All previews state that while it may look the same, it feels completely different.

I think it is great having both. Now people will dream about a Nintendo Vs. Sony brawler.
