story wise, im not excited. We already know what happened to Kratos in the past. Gameplay wise, I hope that multiplayer thing is true as it would add something fresh to the series

I'm a little bit disappointed. Kratos' story is over. We don't want to hear about what he did before he met Ares, because before he met Ares, he was just a regular Spartan soldier with no special abilities. At this rate, we'll be going back into his childhood as well.

I honestly think a version of the series in a different mythology (particularly Norse) would be fantastic. Though on the bright side, maybe we'll finally meet Deimos.

A few thoughts

Why do people seem to be interested in Deimos? We have no idea if he's an awesome character or lame character. He's probably just some normal dude living as a Blacksmith or something.

Yes, we know the story, but that doesn't mean it won't be engaging. I always say that the actual narrative of the story is more important than the story itself. If Santa Monica can tell the story in an immersive manner, then I'll still be engrossed in the story. A huge aspect of story-telling is engrossing the reader in the experience/atmosphere. The actual plot doesn't necessarily have to be fresh.

and people say Halo was milked this GEN ! >_>

Sounds Alright,I had alot of fun with GOW3, tho my only problem was Kratos...
he is one of my most hated main characters ever in a videogame!

1 God of War game made for PS3 this gen. That is hardly "milked".

How can you possibly hate Kratos? I can get if you "dislike him" or somethinb but "HATE" is a strong word.

the guy cares about nobody but himself, basically doomed humanity just because of his ego !

Woulda been more interested if they went with a new character!

 

o- and theres basically only been 1 true halo game released on 360, the rest have been just prequals or side missions.....you know!

Although its not that bad yet I guess.... Its inline with Halo in the milk department now... But it might get "yearly release" bad, and if that happens I will kill myself

Why is everyone so obssesed in changing the mythology in God of War??!! WTF?!!   If they make a game based on other mythology it should be a new IP.

And GOW is not getting milked, there will be only 2 entries for the PS3 (collections dont count), while COD is getting 7 games this generation.


lol if GOW isn't milked then neither is halo. How many GOW's are there anyway? im guessing at least 5-7
