Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Mirror's Edge 2 is Xbox 720 game, uses Kinect 2.0 - rumour

It does seem REALLY REALLY unlikely that it will be an Xbox exclusive, especially as with Kinect, nobody want to do all that running (okay, I definitely don't want to do all that running) and I am not really sure what Kinect will add to the game

I wasn't really planning on getting a nextbox (certainly not for a while) so I would be very disappointed if this happened, I want all my games to be playable on my lovely controllers

"almost three years old and it's a young platform?

... ok"

that is exactly the kind of comment that makes me think people are sony fanboys and are just hating on a

microsoft xbox product

the kinect was released on november 4, 2010

now call me crazy but that means to date the kinect is not even 1 and a half years old yet.

yet you seem to feel the kinect is almost three years old

that is almost twice the time that kinect is actually on the market

so yea like I said before Kinect is a young platform

I know alot of sony fanboys want to see the kinect fail and go away like the wanted

well time will tell if that happens

but in the mean time more Kinect has more support than the psmove and the wiimote

go figure I evil microsoft product beating out the competition

I like the wiimote and the psmove I don't hate on anything

these motion controllers are something developers have to embrace so we can see more games use these cool

motion controllers

I like the psmove and I hope more developers use it especially in the area of the first person shooter.

later haters

no.

and i'm not a sony fanboy btw

Anything that's on rails + kinect/move is a bad idea imho. Either you'll be running on place like an idiot or it will be an unstoppable roller-coaster ride. Not appealing if you're the kind of person that likes to be in control (liked the 1st btw).

@ NeoGohan

What do you mean by no.

More game developers are supporting Kinect more than the psmove and wiimote

that's a fact not an opinion

I could give you link after link

maybe that will change but as for right now Kinect has more support than the psmove.

.............by the way anybody can just say no please back it up with some facts aka links.

I would love a Mirrors edge 2. I hope its not "only on Kinect" otherwise it'll ruin the game.

This is the final time I am going to reply to someone about this:

(Kinect only) does not mean a bad game.

Let us researve judgement for when the game comes out and you get a chance to try the game if this game even

exist.

WOW this thread got hijacked pretty badly.

OT: Mirror's Edge 2 seems like the type of game that MS wouls moneyhat if it sold enough. If it supposedly started development last year, then this game would probably end up a Durango launch window title. This would be the ideal game for showing the "H4RDK0R3" ness of Kinect 2.0. All in all, this rumor seems pretty beliveable.

no.

You're a ninteno fanboy, and it's actually much worse because there is absolutely no logic in it.

OT: The video looks nice, but in real life I can imagine it being waaaay too cumbersome and confusing to the brain. However, this opinion is based solely on playing the shit on a stick that was Rise of Nightmares. I think kinect should go the way of supporting games like the upcoming steel battalion, but that's just my opinion.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

No.

There is no such thing as a Nintendo fanboy, only haters who hate them less than the majority.

As for this thread, all I can say is bring on Kinect 2.0 and then we will see what it can really do for games.
