It's better if you don't play along, just let it slide.

It just shows you all only see what you want to see.
Look at some of the older threads on this site concerning Vita. They were the only Sony threads I posted in and in a positive looking forward to it way.
Have a look yourself. If you make te accusation you need the proof. And the proof from this very site is Ive showed positive interest in Vita all along.
I'm sorry but the visuals are not what you guys say they are. They are better than 3DS, but nowehere and I mean nowhere near 360 or PS3. That was the first thing noticeable when playing Golden Abyss for the first time. And to be honest Golden Abyss for me missed everything that actually made Uncharted good. Makeing it extremely average.

You should try Rayman Origins on Vita. If the game's graphics don't impress you, nothing will. Definitely one of the most beautiful looking game i've ever played.

Just bought Soul Calibur and Silent Hill Shattered Memories. Both are PSP games that I'll be playing on Vita. Had to get Silent Hill on my PS3 since it's not officially supported. I'll port it to the Vita once it finishes downloading (Sad thing is that I own this on my Wii). So Cal looks stunning but a little jaggy on the Vita. I keep touching the screen to pick stuff, though. Force of habit!
Vita, I'm doing my best...

Personally I think GA is just and good as Uncharted 1 visually, same for Delta and Superstar DustHD, Lumines as...Lumines... basically. Current Vita games, to me look as good as EARLY PS3 games. For me that's a very respectable feat for a handheld. Sorry you fell for the hypetrain, which I find Ironic. Because when you do yours you 90/100 genuinely believe what you say (I seem to remember you saying something to that effect) but at the same time, the rest of the world doesn't always agree with you.
You should have realised this when coming into Vita Hype Threads...the clue is in the name after all and as always Rule 1 of Hype threads is you don't believe everything you read.

But then again sony fans like to overhype everything. |
And then there was Kinect Star Wars the Revolution in Gaming...

I'm still not convinced, have to tell you, but I believe you (contradiction?!).
Now in hindsight it's easy to tell that there were slim chanches of you (easily) liking the thing in the flesh (since above you implicitly admit that you rarely post in Sony related threads and almost never - I can't remember an instance, hence my doubt - in a non negative way).
On the graphics side, expecting PS3 graphics was a bit of a strech, and as someone said, expecting today's PS3 graphics was unrealistic.
Try unit13 if you want an over the shoulder shooter. I hear it's good. And if you are interested in first/third person shooters on the go, you don't really have another good option (and many say this option is excelent, just look past what you want to see :).

I have that game on 360. Although it doesnt push the system hard in anyway, it is a beautiful looking game due to art and colour. Technically, PS2, Xbox and GC could have gotten close to if not actually pulled RO visuals off. RO isnt 3d.
A game I loved on PS2 was Klanoa 2. It was 2d platformer rendered in 3d. And it looked beautiful. RO could have been done last gen minus the resolution.

Graphics werent really what has stopped me getting one right now. It was that the game I was interested in was made into a swipe here, tap here affair. No big Uncharted moments, those moments you go wow in.
As far as the visuals, it was easy to see the flat textures on characters and scenery. Low poly models and jaggies. Jaggies were especially noticeable on shadows and Drakes clothing. The lighting is good, and this makes a big difference to how games look. But overall Golden Abyss was nowhere near Uncharted 1. Way to many things looked fugly when you look past the lighting.
aaaaaha, it's funny to see people complain about the Vita not being as powerful as the PS3...expecially when I'd argue Golden Abyss is just as graphically impressive as Uncharted 1 was. Early Vita games compared to early PS3 games, a fair comparison.
