I came here expecting games. I left seeing cool, insubstantial, throwaway apps that should have been there for free at launch.

I would have just settled for the PSP version. Probably would have bought it again through the PSN Store even though I already have the game on UMD and BD.

Between bilinear filtering, the brighter, clearer display and being able to map the right analog stick to the face buttons or the D-pad makes any PSP game better on the Vita.

Oh my nuts! Screw the other games I truly wanted the Vita for, they were remakes anyways (save for Gravity Rush). Time to chuck a chunk of my savings so I can play this bliss inducing collection of magical games!

They won't be selling more systems than Face Raiders or AR games.

To be honest I was pretty hyped for Vita.

I went and played my mates ( Uncharted Golden Abyss ) And I was really disappointed. I expected the visuals to be much better from the hype of the machine, but the game itself was pretty average to say the least. It was like a mini games compilation with a bit of shooting. Considering that was the only game I was really interested in it stopped me wasting my money. Tried Wipeout recently to, but I have to say the sense of speed doesn't exist. Its soooooo slllooooowwwwww. Not really what I expect from those types of games.

As for the article about these apps. These apps have been available under different names with many more features now for IOS, Droid and WP. In fact the version of sketching and painting I use has a lot more features than this Vita version.

I think I'll probably pass up Vita. It had me hyped, but in the flesh is fairly average.

I really believed the visuals were gonna be amazing, but it just didn't impress me. Its nowhere near this gens consoles like some claimed before it released. Nowhere near.

I find it funny how you don't mention the one recently announced Vita game I would consider having the possibility of being a 'system seller' (Soul Sacrifice).

Solid additions... The VITA is just gorgeous to play - use my every day, always up for an online game of FIFA (best version on any console thanks to touch scen through ball play). Can't wait for Gravity Rush, gonna pick up Disgaea 3 this week, gotta say though that the PS3 has been used a lot less since the VITA hit as the games like Vitua Tennis are as good if not better and can be played anywhere - the 2 player flick tennis on the VITA is brilliant laugh and good icebreaker for any gamer.

I hope they come up with an update for that right analog, too.  Right now, we have the option to make the right analog a.) copy the left analog, b.) copy the left d-pad or c.) copy the right face buttons.  I want to be able to fully program it.  Some games made you control the camera by using the shoulder buttons.  Other games made you control the camera by pressing square and then using the right analog stick. 

Can't deny every other PSP game I own (the ones that work, anyway) got one heck of a facelift.  In the case of the God of War games, not only do they look better, they perform better!  No screen tearing or frame rate hiccups.  Backwards compatibilty is my Vita's saving grace right now.  That and all of the ass pictures I saved from that butt thread.
