... And here I was expecting a vita gow title etc...

You've only diminished my interest in the PSV, good job!

I was expecting games....

But then again sony fans like to overhype everything.

Your sarcasm detector must be broken...

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

It's sad, though. In all seriousness, the Vita is a great piece of hardware and everybody should own one......when it gets some amazing games. Too bad nobody is going to create the amazing games until enough customers buy one. And no one is going to buy one unless there are amazing games to play. I don't regret owning a Vita (now mostly being used to play PSP games--I'm thinking of buying Silent Hill Shattered Memories) but I don't like the way its future is looking.

Isn't that what was said about the PS3? How did that turn out?

Well, I guess you're right. The PS3 survived long enough for help to arrive.  I hope the Vita does the same.  I don't think Sony or the PS3 were ever in the shape that Sony and the Vita are in right now, though.  I'll keep being optimistic, though.

I think Sony is doing a horrendous job marketing the Vita.  The commercials with the guy walking around town trying to look cool are not cutting it.  They suck.  Sony needs to make Vita commercials that show games, games, and more games.  A commercial showing a guy playing Street Fighter x Tekken on the Vita vs a guy playing SFxT on the PS3 with both talking shit to each other via headsets and showcasing identical graphics--that would go a long way.

Big difference is that people knew that '(great) games were cming (like MGS4).

And you assume the same can't be said for the Vita? The thing is barely a year old and people are calling doom? It doesn't take an analist to figure out that games will come If only there was a big gaming event coming or something...

To be honest I was pretty hyped for Vita.

I went and played my mates ( Uncharted Golden Abyss ) And I was really disappointed. I expected the visuals to be much better from the hype of the machine, but the game itself was pretty average to say the least. It was like a mini games compilation with a bit of shooting. Considering that was the only game I was really interested in it stopped me wasting my money. Tried Wipeout recently to, but I have to say the sense of speed doesn't exist. Its soooooo slllooooowwwwww. Not really what I expect from those types of games.

As for the article about these apps. These apps have been available under different names with many more features now for IOS, Droid and WP. In fact the version of sketching and painting I use has a lot more features than this Vita version.

I think I'll probably pass up Vita. It had me hyped, but in the flesh is fairly average.

I really believed the visuals were gonna be amazing, but it just didn't impress me. Its nowhere near this gens consoles like some claimed before it released. Nowhere near.

You've clearly never played a Wipeout game before because that's how it starts. Early Races are always slow until you go up classes then the real speed kicks in, failing that, plays Zones same storyline

<<<Wipeout Fanboy

by the end of this year vita should have plenty of games. it should have most of the big games on it like fifa, cod, AC, bioshock etc... and these vita versions will be able to hold their own against the ps3 ones. for a handheld, vita is a powerhouse graphically. jus give it time.. i myself havnt bought one yet but im sure i will at some point.

I dont think so. Golden Abyss was absolutely nothing next to Uncharted on PS3. Golden Abyss was severely average and a uge disappointment to me. Especially after playing the PS3 version.

Yes if people talk about great games for Vita it are mostly games that are not announced yet...

O_o, you were hyped for the Vita? I don't buy it.

@OT: The Wake Up Club think is cool and funny looking. It would be funny working if you could buzz the poeple who are near you and supposed to wake up at the same time but they don't. But how do you check if the person is really up? Completing a Sudoku puzzle would work I guess.
