Too bad nobody is going to create the amazing games until enough customers buy one. And no one is going to buy one unless there are amazing games to play. I don't regret owning a Vita (now mostly being used to play PSP games--I'm thinking of buying Silent Hill Shattered Memories) but I don't like the way its future is looking. |
Isn't that what was said about the PS3? How did that turn out?

Well, I guess you're right. The PS3 survived long enough for help to arrive. I hope the Vita does the same. I don't think Sony or the PS3 were ever in the shape that Sony and the Vita are in right now, though. I'll keep being optimistic, though.
I think Sony is doing a horrendous job marketing the Vita. The commercials with the guy walking around town trying to look cool are not cutting it. They suck. Sony needs to make Vita commercials that show games, games, and more games. A commercial showing a guy playing Street Fighter x Tekken on the Vita vs a guy playing SFxT on the PS3 with both talking shit to each other via headsets and showcasing identical graphics--that would go a long way.
