Day 1 for me for sure although Halo: Reach put a bad taste in my mouth.
Shouldn't you guys in the US be voting for a new president on that day?

Which is why 343 is here to save the day! :D
(but yeah, they kept the shitty armour abilities):
Microsoft, is either crazy, or crazy...
MW3, Black Ops, MW2, and World at War have all released on the tuesday of the second week of the month.
And microsoft is releasing halo 4 on the tuesday of the second week of the month... There is a very good chance it will be coming out on the same day as Black Ops 2.
Now I'm trying to think why microsoft has decided to do this.
While some have stated GTAV would be a bigger problem for CoD, While that might be true multiplatform, specifically for the 360 I disagree. Those two games compliment each other. They offer completely different experiences and it makes sense for the average customer to buy both. On the other hand the main appeal of both Halo and CoD is everlasting competitive multiplayer, and releasing both on the same day will surely affect sales, at least initially, of both games. And while halo will definitely be hurt more than CoD, there is no doubt both games will be affected by this. Individual Call of Duty titles on the 360 are only 35% bigger than halo in terms of sales, at least based off black ops vs halo reach.
So it seems that microsoft is willing to sacrifice a lot of initial fullprice sales of halo 4, to at least damage initial call of duty sales. Either that or they think their release date will persuade activision to move theirs back since they haven't announced a firm one yet. Anyone have any suggestions as to why microsoft is at least attempting to hurt CoD sales or does anyone think microsoft just didn't notice that they are releasing halo 4 on the same tuesday that Call of Duty has launched the past 4 years.
Midnight launch for me is guaranteed!
I was hoping for a September date so I could play it. Those 1 and a half months of extra wait time are going to suck
Also I'm not sure if releasing it that close to COD is a very good idea.
Oh well at least we have a release date finally!

Too bad you never show it yourself. I would've known if you had showed some Nintendo in your life.
