I bought the game at launch from GOG for $45 I think. It came with all of that stuff. 

I just updated to the EE edition though. I'm glad it finally released! 

Buy from GOG as all the money goes to the developers of the game!

Well I do, which is why Steam is so handy, I know I can get my library wherever I want. Having said that, if I do see a retail version for about £10, I will happily get it

I don´t why everybody prefers Steam, Steam is really expensive, I bought The Witcher 2 about 3 months ago on Origin for 29,99€ and my cousin purchased it yesterday for 24,99€. I don´t know how much it is on Steam now but when wanted to buy it, it was 39,99€. And the cool thing with Origin is I can install it on every PC with origin installed.

with the gog copy you can install it on any PC whether it has Origin or not, also Steam does the same thing. Steam is for sales anyway.

Yes I knew that about Steam, and Gog I didn´t even know of. My point is that is more expensive then amazon and Origin sometimes. I got Mass Effect2 collectors edition for 18,99€ on Origin on Steam it cost 29,99€ and I got Mass Effect on Origin for 4,99€ on Origin on steam it is 14,99€

And you can get The Witcher 2 for 24,99€ on Amazon. Whenever I wanna buy a game I allways find it somewhere else cheaper then on steam.

I already own the standard edition on Steam but I might buy this later on as well!
I own the Enhanced Edition retail version of The Witcher, got it for my 25th birthday, great deal, great content, great games!

I can build you a gaming desktop for under 500. PC gaming isn't really all that expensive after you look at Steam sales n such ;)
