Motion controls is something you either love or hate. If you absolutely HATE motion controls then no I don't think you should go back to it.

I normally get on fine with motion controls but for some reason i just didn't get on with them on SS.

Don't do it. Play another game.

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I regret playing this game as I had the same experience, but I finished it on principle. The principle of playing it out till the end for a series that has paid respect to me. The favor simply was not returned with this one... KICK ASS FINAL BOSS BATTLES THOUGH...otherwise, bleh

I loved the game. Think its better than all Zelda games after OOT.

I have LoZ, ALTTP, OOT, SS is probably my in order list.

yes, menus sucked due to not using IR and always recentering and the 'help' from your new friend was annoying. But other than that, the game was awesome.

All your criticism is stupidity on your part. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

1) The way you hold the Wiimote when switching over to aiming will be registered as the center, because aiming isn't done via the pointer, but motion controls. If you aim directly at your TV everytime you switch over to aiming, you won't run into the problem of the controls being off center.

2) The stamina gauge: Just how dependent are you on the spin attack? It shouldn't be a problem at all. Did you also have problems with the Super Mario Galaxy games because Mario couldn't spin without interruption? It sure sounds like it.

3) The save statues are a step forward, because now you can pick up the game where you left off instead of being brought back to the beginning of the dungeon or the area you saved in. There are plenty of statues around, so saving shouldn't be an issue at all.

You maybe right about the aiming part maybe I didn't give it enough time to master it.

My other complaints still stand though. I'll give it another go maybe i was just too impaitent with the game due to he stress I was going through at the time.

Yes. I hated it when I got it; replayed it, loved it. End of story.

I promise I will give it another go if you do. I just have to find some stupid AA batteries though. They go by to dang fast.-_-

Spin attacks aren't that useful for regular fights, sounds like you're spamming them.

Signature goes here!

I myself was ond-and-off with Skyward Sword for two months... partly due to the learning curve of MotionPlus, mostly because I had a metric crapton of other games to play (I love me some 3DS).
It didn't really click with me until roughly the halfway mark (Sandship was awesome), but the finale propelled it to the top of my favorite Zelda game list (and #3 on my top five favorite games). I can't help but look upon Skyward Sword very fondly, as it provided some of the most brilliant gameplay experiences the series has yet to see.
I also did all of the sidequests and found all of the Godess Cubes, and I never have done that in a Zelda game before.
