Spanish, Italian, and French are some of the most popular and easiest to English speakers because a lot of words are based off of those languages.

Without the faintest clue of the English language, my whole family moved to the UK when I was 9 years old. We lived there for four years, and after the first four months I was able to defend myself. But it wasn't until the last year when I thought my English was good enough.

I had some funny experiences during those years: Maths has no language barrier, if you can't describe it - draw it, and Stupid your ANT!

Well, there were two things that influenced me to learn English. One was... Cartoon Network! :D I watched CN every day and I learned with it. The second reason being school, since I live in Puerto Rico, which is an US territory that was under Spanish control for a long time; English is taught on school but the primary language is Spanish since that's the one Spain established before the US came.

Those words are extremely easy to discern and make total grammatical sense, it's things like that that baffles me about native speakers. How can you get those wrong???

I've seen several people on here though that use You're for everything meant to be used as Your.
