I started to learn English when I went to the University (Computer Science).

Most of the books adopted there where in English so I had to learn how to read them.

I kind feel bad because I watch a lot of anime and don't know but maybe 5 words total in Japanese and I watch them in Japanese. 

It's pretty cool that some are actually learning a new language from a hobby.  Maybe I'll start paying more attention.

I took English classes at elementary school. I really wish it was better, 'cause it's pretty flawed.

All I know is english. 

And crude spanish and italian I suppose.

Cartoon Network and my mother Easy as that. Still even at 22, I still have tons to learn, as anybody can see that from my writing skills

Native Swedes are pretty much forced by laws to learn the English language. So school, mainly.


There's also obviously a shit-ton of self teaching involved using teh internetz, movies and videogames.


Over here we tend to laugh at how poor Germans and especially French people (among lots of others) usually pronounce the English language

I can also speak Italian. Grew up around italian speach being as my nan refused to speak english to fam members. I can do Jamaican aswell but that is more of a really strong accent than a new language,

Being a native English speaker I find this quite interesting to see how people learned our language! ^_^

You know the K-Pop and J-Pop I listen to? It helps a ton with pronunciation. I don't know much Korean at all but I can for sure pronounce things correctly! I can also memerize words even though I'm not sure what it means. Many people who Study (or just want to learn the language) in Japan or Korea have said listening to the music really helps with memerization and pronunciation.

Almost. It means something like "happens" or "I've done" or "[I need to] do ___."
