school and rpgs pretty much... I do remember playing mario rpg and rushing to find a dictionary to find what was I supposed to do next... Zelda Alink to the past and links awakening helped me a lot as well.

Intensive one year classes to rech the level i'm now. I'm still far from perfect but that's why i participate on forums , watch cartoons and movies and, of course, play videogames.

Gaming and School... tough both cannot teach you proper pronounciation and I hate both of them for it :D

One thing that I find funny is how most of the time native speakers are worse at spelling than people who have learnt the language. Not grammar (except it's vs its and a few things you also get confused about) or expressions, but native English speaker are pretty terrible at spelling. Probably because when we learn the language we tend to look at how the words are written first, whereas you guys are thinking more about the sound of the word. I found out that towards my last few years in the UK I was actually getting worse at spelling!

Mainly just by reading and watching TV ad nauseam. I honestly can't remember the last time I read or watched anything with Finnish translations.

School mostly, but I guess I can't underestimate the importance of video games either. That said, I've never really had a good chance to speak English so that could be a bit of a different story... for now. I'd say I can pronounce pretty well in general, it's just that I'm pretty insecure about that due to my lack of experience.
