Yes, you unlock it at a certain point in the game (probably Chapter 4 like Conegamer mentioned, but I don't remember exactly when I unlocked it so I'm not 100% certain, but it was very early in the game) and the place is called "Outrealm" on the world map. 3 I believe. There's 3 on the top screen and then there's these 2 other save file looking slots on the bottom screen so maybe 5, but I haven't really paid attention to those bottom screen slots since I got the game. In any case there's at least 3, so you'll have your 2 haha.

No they're not. At most, Persona is a spinoff of SMT; in reality, they're separate series, with Persona just borrowing the SMT label in the West.

Ah fair enough then, I knew they were somewhat related but I didn't quite know how closely.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but you do indeed have to pay for every future DLC chapter, but not Spotpass.
