Im only at Chapter 8.

Not been in the right frame of mind to just sit down and have a good go at it.

I only used Libra on the first file, but in the end yeah their support conversation was better than Lissa's.

Never used Panne. Lon'qu is only on my third file, and he is married to Olivia.

At the very least you could use Donny solely as a father like I do with characters I don't like using otherwise. Mostly looking at you forgetful Vaike. :L
Out of all characters I've used him the least.

My playthrough is like this:

Make couples based on support convo's rather than skills/stats passed on to 2nd Gen.

If I make a couple I use them. 

Use 6-8 1st Gen characters, 4 2nd Gen Characters. 

No Limit Breaker minus Dancer Olivia for lols.

Ah I gotcha! I just assumed everyone would marry all the women off so they can get all kids. I guess I needs to remember that not everyone plays the same way, which is coolness. ^_^

29 Defense Caps are murder :(

Bought the Scramble pack. It was the only pack along with future of despair, and Golden pack that I was really interested in

I finished my 2nd playthrough. My next Playthrough will be on lunatic, and I will make a Green haired MU so I can have an awsome green haired Owain.

I can tell you from experience that grinding is not necessary, even on Lunatic. Lunatic mode is actually fairly easy if you do all the Paralogues in certain order, as this lets you level up "safely." Once you know how to proceed, there are only a half-dozen maps that are really all that challenging. Of course, two of those come at the begining...

Lunatic+ might be a different story, though...

Pair them up, then use a Rescue Staff. After that, play defense on the lower right hand corner (Virion levelled up two or three times already...right?). Once the wyvern riders are dealt with, including the reinforcements, the map is a breeze.
