Just about to start Chapter 3. Made a couple silly mistakes early on so far which I'll have to be wary of in the more taxing chapters later on.

My copy didn't arrive today!! Gutted.

So here is the DLC for this week:

America

	Xenologue: Five-Anna Firefight Things go bad for Anna and her sisters as they venture out to a lava cave in search of rare ore.
Reward: Catria card (allows players to recruit Catria) Difficulty: 5 star, Price: $3.00 Artist: Shinnosuke Hino
This map requires you to protect five Annas separated from you by a distance. The Annas are weak and cannot withstand many enemy attacks. So you'll need to plan well to prevent the Annas from being attacked by the enemy. However it won't be easy, as the enemy has many flying units at their disposal and formidable reinforcements will appear over time

Europe

	Outrealm Tales: Champions of Yore 1 Chrom and his team find themselves lost in the Outrealm, where they meet an elderly fortune-teller whose magical cards can summon heroic spirits. When Chrom is drawn into battle, the fortune-teller aids him by calling forth a special ally.
Reward: Prince Marth card (allows players to recruit Prince Marth) Difficulty: 1 star, Price: €1.99/£1.79 Artist: Senri Kita (Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn)
Chrom is joined by Marth, Ike and Alm as NPC units; their objective is to defeat 10 heroines from previous titles. The enemies on this map are Level 7~8: the weakest DLC foes you'll face. After completion of the mission, Prince Marth will join as a Level 8 Lodestar.

This DLC is free apparantly. Not far enough into the game yet to confirm.

Ouch! I was real worried that my 3DS XL bundle wouldn't be in stock (it's GAME), but to my surprise it was! 

They had 6 copies, 5 of which were pre-ordered (the HW bundle). The two people in front of me, and the person behind me, all got the Fire Emblem bundle. That's very encouraging.

That does play a big role. But the manaketes also have naturally high stat growths as well: it's not uncommon for them to gain 2 HP per level, for example. Just be warned that they also tend to have low stat caps in at least one area. Nah's Speed, for example, caps in the mid-30's.

Yuppers! Some of the later maps are supposedly meatier, but they're all just one map.

And you were afraid you were going to have to spend a bunch of money on DLC.

Yes to the support log, including the Spotpass characters. But I don't think they attach a completion percentage.

I knew I liked you Carl. I really think it enhances the story, especially if you marry Chrom. Being Lucina's mother adds some gravity to the story imo.

Also, Lucina inherits every single mainstream class (exept for the male only Berserker and Warrior classes) if she's the Avatar's daughter. Which of course allows for some crazy skill sets.
