I think they should consider delaying the Wii U version into next year. Take some time to really polish the game, odds are in the launch window it's just going to get lost amongst bigger releases anyway.
Tecmo seems very close to Nintendo these days, maybe Nintendo can advise them on how to make the game better, because it seems like Nintendo pretty good at getting even so-so developers (Next Level Games) to deliver very good products.
Same thing with Retro Studios ... despite tons of staff turnaround, they still delivered a great DKC game following up the Metroid Prime games.
