I thought MS actually had it all together until now. Releasing same holiday as PS4 is bad news, Japan alone will give Sony an early lead.

Why would they? The Kinect release alone gave them enough of a reason to keep supporting the XBox 360.
Sales in America are as strong as ever and that is the biggets gaming market.

Right now Microsofts focus is getting people to know about Kinect since it will play a huge role in the next generation from Day 1.

I think the profit they are getting now wont be worth it to miss out on profits next gen. Releasing same holiday as PS4 means they gotta work that much harder to stay ahead. With Europe and Japan in Sonys favour, they better think of something.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Funny, given a few months back Sony were themselves musing that they would probably be last to launch for the next gen.

Checked date and it was posted on VG247 on 2 April, so not an April Fools.

Maybe in the US. Even during the holidays for the rest of the countries ive mentioned. I still see the same amount of ads for both companies. Whether theyre more frequent or not.
