Last night, after years and years, I finally saw Philadelphia for the first time. It was curious how many close-ups they've used to catch the character's emotions. Also, the characters knew what was gonna happen at the end, so it really didn't let your hopes up. And the character building was good; they made me care about them. It's still enjoyable after 21 years.

rewatched total recall its simply timeless and always fun.

watched 2 episodes "how to get away with murder" the wife loves it and she's pretty excited for the next 2 episodes tomorrow. I would let her watch more but she needs to sleep

and tried to watch "the theory of everything" true story about the early life of stephen hawking but i got bored probably because I already know the story and because its a romance.

Citizen Kane 70th anniversary edition. 8/10

Remastered 16:9 version, expertly colored in, enhanced special effects and 7.1 DTS HD-MA. Just kidding. It is a very well done 4K remaster, with very noticeable film grain throughout. No more compression artifacts blurring the difference between the actual film, and footage in the film itself that was made to look old.
Still a great movie, although a bit drawn out, for example the bad opera stuff.

I have the best wife ever. She gave me my cristmas present early this year.





It took her 60 hours to paint, I'll be watching it for the rest of my life :)

My wife asked me why she (Mononoke) always looks angry or covered in blood in all the pictures. I found one where she smiles, doesn't look right though. She's currently painting a scene from Howl's moving castle for her best friend. I wish I had the talent and patience to do that :)

I watched Harry Potter and the deathly hollows today. 7.5/10 so far for part 1. It's dark like the Order of the Phoenix, but it works much better without the school stuff. My wife joined in, was entertained as well. She's off to bed, so part 2 will have to wait.

@Spurge I'm glad How to train your dragon 2 was good, I already ordered it, should arrive on Monday. Darn snow delayed it. We recorded Kung fu Panda 2, I guess we shouldn't expect too much from it.
