seth, we talked about this before. Cut down on your consumption of weed.

I'm on day #2 without any.   I did however discuss this with one of my friends while smoking.  I felt one with the universe when I came to realization.

You get high and talk about space shit?

Oh man do I wish I had friends who talked about that kind of shit when we are stoned.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Mainly just have deep science conversations with one of my friends.  The other few friends I have don't really go deep into anything while smoking (except bullshitting around).  The guy I have deep conversations with has less education than my other friends but is more willing to expand his mind in science and understanding of the Universe.  The other few friends I have perhaps dumb me down.  So it is a little rare I suppose to dwell deep into such matters while high but we are both fascinated by science.

I'm kinda reminded of this one show on Science Channel that said that if physics is the same throughout the universe, then Aliens would have features that complimented the physics and by extension gravity on their planet. Like on high gravity planets, the 'aliens' would have to be able to support their own weight and therefore have to more durable.

Scroll up to a few posts where I talked about dogs..  Basically, it doesn't matter where they come from (or how they adapted to their home planet).  If they can space travel then their bodies would adapt to zero gravity space travel.  So they could be some big hideous monster on their home planet but after traveling for awhile in space (I believe even with galactic short cuts that space travel would still take awhile) that they would adapt to zero gravity.

Here is another example...  There are fish in caves that have no eyes.  They lost their eyes since there is no need due to the darkness.  Usually, it would be a disadvantage not to be able to see but if you have been evolving in a place that having eyes doesn't even make a difference then why would the body put effort into keeping that part of the body.  Sort of like how humans have a tail bone.  Where is our tail?

Speculative scientists like to make anythign eventually look like our preception of grey aliens, because that's a sexy hypothesis that'll give them attention.  For example:

So, yeah alien's could be evolved humans from the future.  Or we could be a seed race of aliens.  Or they could be evolved dinsosaurs that left the plaent before the that meteor hit.  Or they could be demon's trying to test man's faith in a false form.  Or they could actually be from another planet or dimension.  Of course, it could just be a modern form of mythology, people trying to explain the unknown and wanting to beleive in something that ultimately doesn't exist.  I lean towards that answer, but hey, anything is possible.

Sounds like you'll like Prometheus.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

no they would not be related

life on other planets would probably have started the same way it did on earth, from single celled organisms. if we are going to say that the earth was seeded by a comet then where did it come from? and where did that place get seeded from and so on

where did everything come from :-O

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

David Icke, is that you?

Lol, assuming you're replying to my posted video - the Dinosauroid thought experiment is very much a serperate thing from the whole reptilian humanoid nonsense, but I just posted the first vid dealing with it that I cold find on youtube.  Not that I think Troodon's would look anything like that if they evolved - they would probably have a lot more avian features.

First let's have diplomatic relations to a few different ones, then we can draw conclusions on whether we are related and to whom.
On the Ancient Aliens thing and others such themes, I will objectively agree that there are many many many things that are not clear in our past, whether that includes aliens or not we can't yet tell.
Subjectively, yes I believe we have been visited by others in the distant past.
On life seeded on our planet by aliens, I would say no.
Biological intervention? Maybe but most probably no (or very limited).
Cultural? Possible to probable.

I think if a species was intelligent enough to travel between planets, then i m sure they would put forth measures to prevent such changes. Things like muscular training could keep your body from shrinking. As for the gray color, I'd say they could also replicate sunlight if they could do space travel.

Spin a part of the the spacecraft and the major thing which is lack of gravity is resolved. Remain a space dweller however and you might reach the conclusion that gravity is not needed? maybe.
