Haha. This isn't Dragonball Z. You don't gain EXP after losing a fight in RPGs either.

I know but when the body heals from stressors, it rebuilds itself stronger than before. This is how weightlifting works: when you lift a heavy weight you are damaging your muscles. When they heal up, they becom stronger.
This is why some people cut themselves. So they're skin can heal stronger and tuffer. |
You really think that's why people cut themselves?
There are a whole lot of reasons why people self-harm (everything from schizophrenia to sexual gratification) but to make their skin tougher is one I haven't heard of.

I'm aware that most people cut themselves out of mental disorders, but I've met some persons that inflict extreme pain upon themselves to stengthen their bodies. Cutting themselves is one of their many techniques and from what I've seen, their skin does seem tuffer than average. |
what? i mean, i know shaolin monks "destroy" their head structure years over years (but not with simple cuts lol) and the healing makes the head stronger and stronger but you know "some" persons who cut themselve anywhere and they have stronger skin now? did they cut 80% of their body or what? i mean, what do i need some cuts on my arm or so for? i understand why shaoling monks do it (and they do it hundreds of times) but i don't believe you know some people who desroy their own face years over years to get a stronger one. and if they do it on some parts of the arm or so what is that for? isn't it totally useless?
and even then, it has nothing to do with you "fighting" one freaking time against another guy. you body will have absolutely none profit from that. it was only one time man, even your muscles don't profit from that.
DETROIT - the city where people cut themselve to be stronger humans
