Going in blind without looking at preorders, i would have said 80k. Knowing preorders, however... 160k sounds right.

In seriousness: I suppose this has a chance to be quite big in America then? That surprises me, in a good way. Hopefully as many people as possible get a chance to play it, and that's a plus in my book, regardless if you enjoyed the game or not.

I would say 215k first week. We have only the USA numbers and I think the game is also releasing on the same day in other countries as well, so the numbers could be slightly higher.

I already put a pre-order on this game and can't wait to play it! The game looks really interesting to me!

As much as I would love it to do 200k + I'm gonna go with around 100k. It's still a JRPG, a new IP, and a game on a console in its waning years.

I really think the american preorders are to high - the game made it to a solid 160.000 now in europe (where I´m from), and that is a realistic target for the american sales.

I'd imagine so. I mean, it's safer to pre-order, but they'll have some residual copies for non-pre-order buyers as well...

I would agree with you, but the fact is, the pre-orders are already at nearly 150k. So it'll likely reach around 200k by launch, if not more. Even without other areas of America than the US (which will probably cause 20% of sales), and assuming the pre-orders are twice as much as they should be, it'll still sell much more than 160k LT in the US, let alone the entirity of America.
