1. To be honest, after all this "thecellwillchangetheworld"-marketing crap before and during the launch of the PS3 Sony should be ashamed, that there is even an debate.

2. The PS3 definitely has the more diverse exclusives, which in some cases have a technical edge over the ones from the Xbox360, but they are still comparable and not on a next level.

3. I have both consoles and playing on an 55" LCD FULL HD TV. In many cases I prefer the XBOX360 due to AA.
The jaggies of the PS3 in many titles are a really turnoff if you play on 50" and above.

4. In the end both consoles are to close to one another to call for a glorious victory, which is as I stated in the beginning a really shame for Sony.

Everything agreed, but the word "shame" doesn't account well for your statements. If u can't admit wholly PS3 holds an edge, don't use the derogatory way atleast.

So, after over 280 posts, have we resolved a conclusion between the parties?

Agreed, I think the better word is "embarrassed". This is what I meant. As statet before, english is not my mother language.

PS3 holds an edge, that is no questions. It´s just not a big one and the jaggies are definitely a problem on bigger screens.

Yep. The PS3 turns 6 and the Xbox 360 turns 7 this year, who-wuddathunk-it that people would still be going on about them to this day. Anyway as always the credit ought to be going to the developers, not the silly systems that they develop the games for because besides anything else if you really cared about graphics to this day and aren't a major PC gamer then something is seriously wrong with you.

History will remember the PS3 as the most graphically powerful home console of this generation, no matter how little that may mean to you, or I, or to gaming as a whole.

It is the purpose of this thread, and so it will be proven, when the generation comes to a close.

All I have seen as a challenge are lies, insults and bullshots! Quite a poor show.

And before you ask why one should place such value in technical prowess, ask yourself, why are you posting in this thread at all? Interesting question, to say the least.

I have, and I completly disagree. God of War 3 looks terrible when you get close up to the Titans, textures, and even Kratos is sub par compared the the characters in Mass Effect. It's the draw distance that makes that game look so good, that and the water effects. However I'm used to games with good draw distances, Skyrims draw distance is just as good as GoW3's, and I don't consider it a graphical marvel. Halo Reach, while not as good looking, has a better draw distance...

Either way, Heavy Rain should not have made that list in the OP. Gears of War 3 looks much better, and like I said after Uncharted 3 (specifically 3) it's a mixed bag of goodness. GoW3, Gears 3, KZ3, Crysis 2, etc. All look excellent, and I could understand how people could put either game above one another.

Like I said before each game has its graphical benefits, UC with vegetation, GoW3/Skyrim with distant object details/Gears 3 with detailed textures and close ups of the guns....even L.A. Noire for its facial expressions level of detail.

1. Uncharted 3 multiplayer looks no different then the beta, they didn't rebuild the engine since then. If Gears 3 looks comparable, then guess what, the graphical difference isn't huge.
2. Autovista Mode is a part of the game, and in all fairness that is the best looking graphics engine on any console, lol.
3. You posted better looking pictures of what? I thought we agreed Forza 4 and GT5 both look awesome? I never said my pictures "didn't count."

What about my links showing FPS drops in GT5, but Fora 4 running smoother? My link of IGN saying Gears 2 looks better then Killzone 2 (and to many people here Killzone 2 ranked as high as 4th best looking game this gen).

This is my point of view, why PS3 fans are going nuts over accepting this? I dunno?

Going to go with that guys point about how PS3 can only get this victory, since it's likely to end in third this gen, even if in general some PS3 exclusives look at most 5% better (I think only UC3).

While the lines are horizontal, this improves the resolution vertically...lol
