IMO this Patapon will sell just as much.

Dont get me wrong if this is acually a good game I will probably buy.

It's made by Sony so it's not even possible on a ninty console or handheld.
And if Locoroco really sold that bad why is it platinium then?

those sales numbers don't include America or Europe which represents a good amount of the sales.

Famitsu gave Patapon the Platinum Review award which means it got between 35 and 40 on 40.
I'm not sure what the exact score is though, I'll research it.

 The game is platinum in the Eu , so that means that it had to sell 300k ... in the US it did over 100k , from what I remember , so thats a total of ~ 600k . For a low development cost , 1st party game thats just amazing . Also , Viva Pinata , with bundles , true , but just passed the 1 million mark ... Patapon will probably break even at ~ 80k IMO , and it will sell much more afther that ... so yeah , why not give a copule of cult games for the PSP to , especially if they bring some profit :)

Yep hunter is probably right, but Patapon won't sell as good as Locoroco did probably.
