I actually think 2 looks a lot better. The ground textures are the same thing. There's a small polygon difference. Mario is a bit shorter in 2. 2 is more colorful, like a lot more. Like the background in 2. What's HappyD complaining about?!

Of course it looks a tad better on the Wii Version.
Also just learned that you have to hold the L/R button longer if you want to bring out the camera in the Home menu. This is great for me because I have open the camera so many times on accident! These little things make me love Nintendo even more!

One of the best Wii games I've played, and it's not even out in the west. Sad.. It also makes the best use of the Wii motion plus I've seen to date, besides maybe WSR.

The language is not a major issue, whatever characters are saying during missions is highly unimportant. The menus are a bit complicated but only becuase the game has so many different options. You can equip different weapons, develop them on separate paths on a skill tree, and play each mission as two different characters. But even then it shouldn't take too long to figure out the basics of the game. Worse comes to worst I'm sure there is a translation of the entire menu online.
Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!
