Popular online retailer Amazon is currently listing Wii U games at $49.99. That’s roughly ten dollars cheaper than rival games on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which generally appear to retail for $59.99. It would be extremely interesting if Nintendo decided to price Wii U games ten dollars cheaper than the same games on rival formats. I’m sure more will be revealed at E3 next month

Very interesting. The fact that $50 is on par for PC games and Publishers support of that suggests Nintendo can get away with it too. Besides, Nintendo is throwing them a bone with same-price downloads anyway.


maybe its got something to do with the launch games.. most of them are ports..

Could be a good Disaster: Day of Crisis, as i`m not a fan of RPGs.
They are already developing that game for 3DS from Namco, Sega and Capcom, so i don`t think their other game or games are going to show up soon. Of course, it also depends on how many resources are behind that game. My bet is, if it shown this year, nintendo will probably keep it for a more japanese oriented audience like TGS or Nintendo Direct.

But Monoliths had 2 years almost making a new game... It's time to show what they've been working on since Xenoblade!! Rumors have it it's a WiiU game =D


Yeah, the game is almost 2 years old.
I just hope that developing Project X and the rumoured game doesn`t mean they will need more than two years to finish both games. It seems this time they really got their hands full! :D

Monolith Soft has more than one studio, so I don't think that multitasking will be an issue.

Similar pricing to the Wii, it's the price said I would put in that "Decide your own Wii U launch" thread. Remember the Wii at the beginning had some 60 third party games, meanwhile Nintendo's sold them a little lower.

This really is an odd news. Nintendo must really be covering all their basis. I don't even know what to expect from Nintendo this E3 anymore. They seem to be comming at all angles, some of which I didn't even expect. This E3 will either solidy their position in the 8th gen as well as the gaming industry; Or, being that there had been so much rumors, and hype, we'll see news that won't quite reach our expectations and ultimately feel disappointed.

I don't wanna hype myself up too much but everything seems to be pointing at an Epic Nintendo E3. "Epic" is a word I don't quite use a lot as it is overused and mismanaged, but it's the only word I can think of right now.

A GoNintendo post is saying they are developing it and the game is also at 60%, btw.
